The Brompton Gear Cable Pulley Assembly is that odd-looking black part mounted to the seat stay on the back of your Brompton. It is part of the Brompton hub-gear system used on all 3-Speed and 6-speed Brompton bikes. It routes the gear cable through a 90-degree angle to the cable anchor which in turn connects to the gear indicator chain to change the gears within the 3-speed internal hub.
There is a wheel inside which should move freely to allow your gears to change without hassle. This can get clogged up over time. If it does, then this is what you need.

Returns

The period of time is 30 days. If you haven't received your item within 30 days, we are not able to issue a refund or an exchange.
To be considered eligible for return it must be in its original packaging, unopened and in the same state as you received it in. The item must be returned in the original packaging.
